When does high school start in the usa?

That's a very vague question. There are over 10,000 highschools in the U.S.A. depending on which one you go to they start usually in the morning and end in the afternoon. they go from 9th grade to 12th grade.

you will get so many different answers - you will get confused! there are sooo many high schools over here, they all are slightly different majority start in very late aug or early sept and finish around june time hope i helped hun -x-

new jersey. you start first week of september usually on a wednesday. and it ends at my school on june 12. we start high school in 9th grade so about 14 years old. and my school starts at 7:15am and it ends at 2:07pm

Should I go to high school in usa
Should I go to high school in usa?
I live in Thailand. and i really want to go to high school there so i can continue college there too. I have a cousin livin in LA. can anybody name me some good high schools there? I am a freshmen too. Should I go? and how do i convince my parents? and would they charge me if i am a international student in a public school ? thanks laur u helped alot. i think ur answer helped alot. but i am lookin for high school in L.A. so thank you anyway

well you might want to ask your parents a few questions about money and things like that, but high school education is free and if you get a scholarship so is college but there's also loans however i am not in high school yet but I know that there is overbrook high school, audubon high school, Howell high school, hudson catholic religion school, block horse pike regional high school, King Christian high school, Burlington city high school, and there are plenty more o and these are just New Jersey schools so there are plenty more! goodluck=] I hope I helped you.

When do kids start school in the USA
When do kids start school in the USA?
I mean at what age? and how is their ages counted?

Well, preschool would be 3 or 4..sometimes parents use it as daycare..normal kindergarten starts at 5 providing the child turns 5 before November and if not then the child would start the following yr, which is not always fair because they are only 2 months behind the class. Some schools have all day school such as my sons first school..in kindergarten he went from 7am till 1:20 pm..but then we moved to a different city and he only went from 7:30am till 10:50am..they had whats called, morning or afternoon classes.
