For an international perspective, check out St. George's University in Grenada (a Caribbean island). It isn't in the US, but it is accreditted by US, UK and many other countries Medical boards. Nearly all the students are foreign and the facilities are modern. From the feedback I've heard, most doctors who studied there are happy with their education. It's also somewhat cheaper than the US schools and less competitive. http://www.sgu.edu/website/sguwebsite.nsf/index.html

UCLA has the best medical school. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores: http://www.guideparadise.com/index.php?option=com_guides&task=buy&id=10 I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
