Hi guys, well i'm gonna write a book. It will take place in USA (exactly in New Jersey), so I need a bit infarmation about high school in USA, cos it's complitely different from italians. So... How long do you go to school? From september to june? I know that students often atten lessons until the afternoon... so you go to school from ? in the morning to ? in the afternoon? I've never understood, for example you have some schoolmates in the english class, but then you go math class and change schoolmates? The last question: you attend the first year at 15 and the last at 18? If you can say me something particular... write me! Please, answer... it could seem a stupid quest, but it's important to me!

yup september to june (some may even go august to june) my high school starts at 7:13am and goes to 2:10pm they mix up the classes so people have chances to meet more new people with the same interests at themselves most people are 14 entering high school and 18 I'm only entering high school for the first time next month but from my knowledge I know that it's a great way to make friends and prepare for your future, also my high school is a "Park" because it is 3 schools and people go to all of the schools, not just one, so its very unique =]

1. School usually goes from early September until early to mid-June. Some schools start in late August. 2. I go to school from 8 AM until 2:40 PM. Of course, many students have extracurricular activities/sports after school that last for a few hours. And then usually between 1 and 5 hours of homework when you get home. 3. Every day in my high school we have 6 separate classes. Each class lasts about an hour, and you walk to a separate classroom for each class with 6 minutes of passing time between each. Because everyone else has a divided schedule like this, you can have different people in every class, but usually some of the same people have the same classes with you. For example, my first 3 classes might be Spanish, Chemistry, and History, respectively, but Susie's might be Psychology, Chemistry and English. So Susie and I would be in Chemistry together but not the other 2 classes. 4. It changes depending on what state you live in, but where I live you start your freshman year when you're 14 or 15, and you graduate when you're 18. Good luck on your book!!

let me just start by saying americas school system is very messed up, and our government isnt doing anything to fix it. ive gone to public schools all my life. okay, so elementary in some places goes from kindergarden (about 5 years old) to 5th grade, (about 10-11) but my state's elementary goes up until 6th grade, then jr high for me went from 7th grade (13 yrs old) until 9th grade (15yrs). so for my state, highschool goes from 10th grade (about 16 yrs old) to 12th grade (about 18). but for most schools they start highschool at 9th grade and go until 12th. and my school starts from 8 in the morning, until 2:30 in the afternoon. my school is on something called a block schedule. where we have a total of 8 classes. and theyre split up, so we have 4 classes each day. the classes last about an hour and a half i think. we get a half an hour for lunch after the second class of the day. and we get 5 minutes inbetween classes, to get to our next class. we all get to choose the classes we want to take. we sign up for those classes the previous year. for each class, the students dont stay the same, because everyone has different classes. what happens, is each teacher just teaches one subject, the same lesson all day. they stay in the same room. and the students move classes. so theirs a different teacher and different classroom for each subject. so the students that are in your class change because everyone has different schedules.. um, i dont know what else there is. and sorry if you already knew a lot of that, i just wasnt sure what you already knew or not. oh, and my school starts in mid august (next monday) and ends on the last day of may.
