Law School in USA...
Law School in USA...?
Im from the UK and was wondering how I would go about getting into Law School to become a police officer. What are the best schools and what grades would I need to get to get into the school (if any are needed) Any Help would do =) also the average cost per year as I know some schools you have to pay upfront Thanks

ok LAW school in the united states is to become a lawyer. you mean police academy... they have them in every city, so you can pick whatever you want.

You want to become a police officer in the US? or in the UK? Law school, in the US, is where you go to become a lawyer, as another poster said. In the US, to become a police officer, you often either need to go to a college (that's what they call "university" in the US. It's not the same as a British "college") and take a certain number of classes, or else have served in the US military, and then apply to the police academy. I do not know if a foreign national without authorization to work in the US can get into a police academy here, but they certainly can not be hired onto a US police force. In other words, even if it's possible for you to go to a US police academy for training, you can't be hired. I am not sure, if you train at a police academy in the US, if you can work on the police force in the UK. It's possible that, to work in the UK, you'd need to train in the UK. I've found some info on how to become a UK police officer. I heard MIT and CIT are outstanding but I am not an engineer. For the Bachelors degree, I would check out Harvey Mudd College.
2 :
Olin is also a very good school. The university is rather new, but has attracted and produced some very good students

If I live in Australia, is it possible for me to get into a film school in Canada or the USA
If I live in Australia, is it possible for me to get into a film school in Canada or the USA?
I live in Australia, but my life long dream is to get into the film industry. I have always loved it, and it is a huge passion of mine. I have considered going to film school in Australia, but I would much prefer to go to one in Canada or the USA. Is this possible, and if so, what are the minimum prerequisites I would need? Can anyone help me?

you might need an student visa, fill your apps and most likely they wont offer any financial support, they usually dont for international students, other than that USA its really fun and you should go to film school here! check out Full Sail University in florida or Vancouver film school. they are both great schools!
