We are searching for a new home and I found it difficult to understand which schools a street address is zoned to. Is there a website, where I can just punch in the street address and it tells me the elem,middle, high school where my kid should attend ? I found that some school district websites have these information, but they are limited only to that school district. I think, what I am looking for is a site that should give information for all (or most) of the schools in USA or for me, atelast in TX.

Have your real estate agent do that work for you. Also, check for schools with low class sizes and high test scores.

It usually says the school district on the info sheet for the house. Check with your realator.

yes. i love this website that i go to all the time. its called mapquest.com. you can put in your address and it can identify what things are around your area as long as you indicate that you are looking for schools in your area and not stores or something. this website is of great use to me and i hope that it will help you too! good luck!
