You've been reported to Homeland Security! Damn terrorist
2 :
No....as a result of the Patriot Act, just asking for such info could get you investigated and labeled as a potential terrorist let alone what the government would think of anyone who could actually answer your question in detail. :)

Is the public school system in the USA teaching kids that Americans should never give up their gun rights

Is the public school system in the USA teaching kids that Americans should never give up their gun rights?
Do they atleast tell them it is an American birth right to own guns to protect freedom from dictators who might try to grab power?

When I went through the hunters safety course back in 8th grade health class in the '90s they did. It was a State Police trooper that said it.
2 :
No, they tell them guns are bad and members of the NRA are communist. Makes you wonder why this country is heading in a downward spiral.

I am a Liberal Social Studies teacher and a gun owner and I have never said that America should give up their gun rights. We do discuss the topic and I think most of my students come to the conclusion that guns don't kill and people do. I try to teach my students to analyze an issue from both sides and give arguments with more proof than "I heard it from some guy/girl".

First, the is no such thing as a "cheap" boarding school, but there are schools with financial aid. Most schools have decent pools to pull from. Second, and before I go any further, stop and think for a moment. Why do you want to go to boarding school? What do you want to achieve there? Are you just going so you can leave your current school/town/parents/etc? Are you looking for more oppurtunities or just a change of scene. If you're just looking for a change of scene, let me suggest summer camp instead. Boarding schools aren't your stereotypical image that you see on Zoey 101, or that you read about in A Seperate Peace. Most of the students at these schools are the most driven children you will ever meet, especially at the schools that give GOOD financial aid. These schools are out there for the students who feel limited where they are; the mucisian needing better facilities and more knowledgable teachers, the student who loves science, but his current school only offers a limited amount of classes, and most times for the student who is limitted in all aspects and just wants someone who yearns to love as much as they do. Currently I know of three schools that are 100% needs blind and offer free tuition for students who's families make under $75,000 per year. These are Andover, Exeter, and St. Pauls, but along with this, these are among the most prestigous schools in the world. They are the Ivy Leagues of prep schools. What I'd suggest doing, if you are serious about this, is to go to boarding school review, a webstie designed to help students find schools that match them, and look for schools you'd be interested in going to, then checking on their FA programs. Just as a forewarning, from the sound of your age, you're a sophomore. You'd be applying for Senior year, since acceptance/rejection letters have already been sent out for the year. Very few rising seniors are ever accepted to schools.

air hostess..lol....funny way to put it...I call them flying cocktail waitresses.
2 :
air hostess? what the hell is that? do you help people float air biscuits?
3 :
What about TGI Fridays? then do some voluntary work with Waste Management and a stint in a retirement home - you should be good to go after that - oh yeah and don't forget to tell them that in the event the plane "land's" in water then your seat cushion becomes a "floatation device" that you hang onto - assuming the unlikely chance that anyone survives such a "landing" then that seat cushion becomes a "bobber" for sharks and YOU are the bait!

Hope you mean Flight Atttendants school There is one in Los Angeles www.weteachtheworld.com

The term "air hostess" is not really used in the U.S. Never attend a Flight Attendant School. They're just rip-off schemes to make money. They wont help you get a job as a Flight Attendant. Each airline has its own training program and they pick the candidates based on their experience and presentation at interviews. You actually don't want to attend any sort of "school" that will give you conflicting information from what the airline wants to teach you. Better to spend your money on *language* courses. If you want to go abroad, sign up for French, Spanish or German classes in those countries. Your money and time will be better spent towards a skill the airlines are really looking for. I can say that most of us Flight Attendants, had at least a couple of years of college (or "university" if you prefer). Most of us had done sort of public-contact work, anything from waitressing to Wall Street. My first airline liked preformers. We had opera singers, ice skaters, dancers, actors and at least one trumpet player ;) A foreign language was required. Even when it's not, it really, really helps. Good luck!

NEVER go to Flight Attendent school there is no reason for it, the airlines give you their own training. Also you are going to have to work a few years in something else. Something which involes contact with people, waitress customer service agent etc. Than you will have a good shot of getting an FA job at a major airline.
