its just that im curious if its the same as in the movies cause im from another country and my high school isnt the same as in the movies....how is really the high school there..do you have any jocks, nerds, popular, etc... thanks for those who answers..:D

Yeah there are jocks and nerds. We have cliques like in the movies, but we're not as bad as in the movies. No one does what they do in most of the movies, for the most part.

I was home schooled so I don't know. I'm only answering cause I'm curious what other people are saying and I want to be able to find this question easily.

Most high schools in the U.S. do have the different groupings of people like jocks, nerds, etc, but its not as noticable or as bad as the movies show it... movies over-dramatize everything.

Of course it's not the same. Movies and TV exaggerate everything. At my school, there were cliques. But they weren't super exclusive. If you wanted to be friends with a group of people, you just talked to them. The cheerleaders did not wear their uniforms every single day. The football players didn't throw the nerds into the trash cans. For the most part, everyone was pretty civil with each other.

Yes there are jocks, nerds, cheerleaders, ect. This can not be avoided because everyone likes different things and the people with common interests make clicks.

haha. come over and find out :) you can't really learn much about other places unless you actually go there. I've lived in 3 countries and you never know what to expect until you actually go, no matter how much research you do

All high schools are different, but they really are not similar to how movies and television depict them to be, at least at my school. There are, however, groups and cliques, but most people I know are very kind and accepting.
